Nomeações para MTV VMA 2017

Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd e Katy Perry lideram a lista.

As indicações para o MTV Video Music Awards deste ano já foram divulgadas, anunciadas pela primeira vez através de um "esquadrão de elite de estrelas do Instagram" no Insta Live, porque não?

Kendrick Lamar obteve o maior número de indicações do ano com oito acenos para seu vídeo "Humble", enquanto Katy Perry e The Weeknd estão empatados em segundo lugar com cinco indicações cada. A partir de hoje, os fãs podem voto em oito categorias do VMA, incluindo Artista do ano, Vídeo do ano, Melhor colaboração e muito mais.

Após a eliminação das categorias de gênero neste ano MTV Movie & TV Awards, os VMAs seguirão o exemplo e combinarão Melhor Vídeo Feminino e Melhor Vídeo Masculino em uma única categoria. A categoria Melhor Luta Contra o Sistema, que estreou no MTV Movie & TV Awards em maio como uma celebração de projetos que inspiram os telespectadores a lutar contra a injustiça, também está incluída aqui.
