Nomineringarna för MTV Video Music Awards 2020 är äntligen här och tävlingen är vansinnig

Inte ens en pandemi kommer att stoppa MTV Video Music Awards 2020. Den ikoniska prisutställningen, som hedrar de bästa musikvideorna under det senaste året, planerar fortfarande att fortsätta som planerat och de tillkännagav precis sin fullständiga lista över nominerade. Bland de främsta utmanarna finns Lady Gaga och Ariana Grande, som har 9 nomineringar vardera. Majoriteten av deras namn är tack vare deras video för "Rain on Me" från Gagas senaste album Kromatica. Samtidigt ligger Billie Eilish och The Weeknd precis bakom med 6 nomineringar vardera.

Medan COVID-19-pandemin fortfarande pågår lade MTV också till två helt nya utmärkelser: "Bästa musikvideo hemifrån" och "Bästa karantänprestanda". Fans som vill rösta på sina favoriter kan gå till den officiella VMA -sidan för 15 olika kategorier, inklusive "Årets video" och "Årets artist".
