Nominalizări MTV VMA 2017

Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd și Katy Perry conduc lista.

Nominalizările pentru MTV Video Music Awards din acest an au ieșit, anunțate pentru prima dată printr-o „echipă de elită de vedete Instagram” pe Insta Live, pentru că de ce nu?

Kendrick Lamar a obținut cele mai multe nominalizări ale anului cu opt semnuri de cap pentru videoclipul său „Humble”, în timp ce Katy Perry și The Weeknd sunt la egalitate pe locul doi cu cinci nominalizări fiecare. De astăzi, fanii pot vot în opt categorii VMA, inclusiv Artistul anului, videoclipurile anului, cea mai bună colaborare și multe altele.

În urma eliminării categoriilor de gen la acest an Premiile MTV Movie & TV, VMA vor urma exemplul și vor combina Cel mai bun videoclip feminin și Cel mai bun videoclip masculin într-o singură categorie. De asemenea, aici este inclusă categoria Cea mai bună luptă împotriva sistemului, care a debutat la MTV Movie & TV Awards în mai ca o celebrare a proiectelor care îi inspiră pe telespectatori să lupte împotriva nedreptății.
