2017 MTV VMA -nominasjoner

Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd og Katy Perry leder listen.

Nominasjonene til årets MTV Video Music Awards er ute, kunngjort for første gang via en "elitestropp med Instagram -stjerner" på Insta Live, for hvorfor ikke?

Kendrick Lamar scoret flest nominasjoner i året med åtte nikk for videoen "Humble", mens Katy Perry og The Weeknd er uavgjort på andreplass med fem nominasjoner hver. Fra i dag kan fansen stemme på tvers av åtte VMA -kategorier, inkludert årets artist, årets video, beste samarbeid og mer.

Etter eliminering av kjønnskategorier på årets MTV Movie & TV Awards, vil VMA -ene følge etter og kombinere beste kvinnelige video og beste mannlige video i en enkelt kategori. Kategorien Best Fight Against The System, som debuterte på MTV Movie & TV Awards i mai som en feiring av prosjekter som inspirerer seerne til å bekjempe urettferdighet, er også inkludert her.
