Nominacije za MTV Video Music Awards 2020 konačno su stigle, a natjecanje je ludo

Čak ni pandemija neće spriječiti nastanak MTV Video Music Awards 2020. Kultna dodjela nagrada, koja odaje počast najboljim glazbenim spotovima u prošloj godini, još uvijek se planira nastaviti prema planu te su upravo objavili potpuni popis nominiranih. Među najboljim kandidatima su Lady Gaga i Ariana Grande, koje imaju po 9 nominacija. Većina njihovih nominacija zaslužna je za njihov spot za pjesmu "Rain on Me" s Gaginog posljednjeg albuma Chromatica. U međuvremenu, Billie Eilish i The Weeknd odmah su iza sa po 6 nominacija.

S obzirom da je pandemija COVID-19 još uvijek u tijeku, MTV je dodao i dvije potpuno nove nagrade: "Najbolji glazbeni video od kuće" i "Najbolja izvedba u karanteni". Obožavatelji koji žele glasovati za svoje favorite mogu posjetiti službenu stranicu VMA za 15 različitih kategorija, uključujući "Video godine" i "Umjetnik godine".
