2017 MTV VMA nomineringer

Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd og Katy Perry leder listen.

Nomineringerne til dette års MTV Video Music Awards er ude, annonceret for første gang via et "elitehold af Instagram -stjerner" på Insta Live, for hvorfor ikke?

Kendrick Lamar scorede årets flest nomineringer med otte nikkede til sin video "Humble", mens Katy Perry og The Weeknd er lige på andenpladsen med hver fem nomineringer. Fra i dag kan fans stemme på tværs af otte VMA -kategorier, herunder årets kunstner, årets video, bedste samarbejde og mere.

Efter eliminering af kønsbestemte kategorier ved dette års MTV Movie & TV Awards, vil VMA'erne følge trop og kombinere Bedste kvindelige video og Bedste hanvideo i en enkelt kategori. Kategorien Best Fight Against The System, der debuterede ved MTV Movie & TV Awards i maj som en fejring af projekter, der inspirerer seerne til at bekæmpe uretfærdighed, er også inkluderet her.
